NATURE OF BUSINESS
Malba Ropes (Pte) Ltd., is a Limited Liability Company, which engaged in manufacturing, exporting and importing of all products for Fishing Industry. The manufactured and exported items are Nylon Fishing Nets, Twine, HDPE Ropes, PP Ropes Synthetic Ropes, Fishing Tackles and Fishing Accessories. And also the imported items are Fishing Tackles, Fishing Accessories, Fish Hooks, Fishing Rods, HDPE(Resin), Nylon Yarn, Fishing Floats, Fishing Line.

The Company has a strength of 320 employees and also have the whole Island wide distributors to market its products. The proposed annual production capacity is nearly 1260 MTons of HDPE Ropes & 650 MTons of Nylon Fishing Nets, Twine.

DETAILS OF RAW MATERIALS (ITEM, COUNTRY OF ORIGIN)
High Density Polyethylene, Yarn, Master Batch and Chemicals are the main raw materials, which is used for the main production process. These raw materials are imported from European Union, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Bangkok.

EXPORT 
The products are exported to Middle East Countries, India, Japan, Korea and Gulf Countries, USA, Europe. 

The Fishing Net
The Fishing Nets which is been manufactured is used for the Fishing Industries, The Royal Golf Club, The Cricket Board in Sri Lanka and also as the Safety Nets for the Building constructions. US AID, ACTION FAIM, UNDP, FAO, GTZ, ZOA, IOL and NGO's

The Rope
The Rope is manufactured to the Fishing Industries and now its diversified into the usage of hanging cloths, wells, cattles, for the Packing Industries, and also for household applicants. Eg: Plant hanging. 

Supply 
The Rope is supplied to the Garment Industries for their purpose of hanging cloths in containers. And also for the above propose the Shipping Agencies are buying the Ropes to fulfill the required neediness. With these the Ropes are supplied for the usage of various applicants., and UNHCR, US AID, UNDP and other NGO's
